Team JBA showed up to display and support the Wicked Stangs drag day at Barona Saturday the 22nd of August.  Long time JBA customer David Schwartz of PSCA Drag Radial fame brought out his monster turbo fox body to check out his new parachute andnd new timing belt tension.  David is second in PSCA points with4 races to go as he tunes up for Vegas next month. 

Austin Bittle pulled the ex-UC High School drag Fairlane out of moth balls and proceeded to spank his Dad leaving him on the starting line as the GT500 proceeded to break a pinion gear and deposit gear oil on the starting line after the burn out.  Seems Dad was really hitting the clutch with a dream of hole-shoting his son for once…Stewart Bittle as crew chief set tire pressures and assisted in eliminations till the mid-night finish under the lights. 

The JBA display at the track was well recieved with Shaun Dove and JR Twedt spending great time with many competitors and spectators talking JBA Racing Engines and Services.

JBittle American Booth at Barona Drags

Last Saturday over here at JBA Performance Center we had the San Diego Focus Club join us for a few hot dogs and they also put a couple of cars on our Chassis dyno!

Also we had a couple of happy customers drive by in their Muscle Cars…we had a ’68 Pontiac Firebird 400, 70 1/2 Camaro Z28, a Olds 442 and a couple of late model Mustangs.  Throughout the day we had about 30 people out and about the shop checking us out and eating lunch.  Don’t forget to join us for our last Open House this weekend on Aug. 29th!

Dave’s 331 for his 1965 Mustang will be pounding the pavement and the high desert tracks soon.  With a new combination his pump gas naturally aspirated small block made 390+ HP with our breakin carb on the DTS.  Then with 9lbs of boost 561+horsepower at 6100RPM and climbing.  Good job everyone!

Here are a couple of cars that were being worked on the other day as I walked through the shop.  JBA not only does HiPo installs but will help you out with a normal tune up on your daily driver or fire shooting muscle car!

Recently, J Bittle Performance developed a new exhaust system for the Ford GT.
