Boss 302 – Original Style, Aftermarket Power

Steve Farkas has owned his Boss 302 for over 30 years and drives like it was meant too!
As an airline pilot Steve expects maximum power when he demands it and he turned to JBA for just that requirement.
Designing a 347 Boss 302 before it was popular Steve’s Boss in basically concourse appearance put out 467 flywheel horsepower with manifolds and stock ignition.

The Balanced and Blueprinted four bolt main Boss block has a steel crank and h-beam rods with and NOS balancer and flywheel.
Ported heads and a solid lifer camshaft allow the 7000+ RPM power band to tear up the competition. Steve’s attention to detail makes his Boss 302 a real show winner too! —

Last Saturday over here at JBA Performance Center we had the San Diego Focus Club join us for a few hot dogs and they also put a couple of cars on our Chassis dyno!

Also we had a couple of happy customers drive by in their Muscle Cars…we had a ‘68 Pontiac Firebird 400, 70 1/2 Camaro Z28, a Olds 442 and a couple of late model Mustangs.  Throughout the day we had about 30 people out and about the shop checking us out and eating lunch.  Don’t forget to join us for our last Open House this weekend on Aug. 29th!

Here are a few pictures from the weekend…

Recently, J Bittle Performance developed a new exhaust system for the Ford GT. Incorporating the popular JBA long tube headers, mid-pipes and a new muffler with dual polished exhaust tips, the system replaces the factory exhaust and gives it less restriction, while giving the vehicle a performance tone that doesn’t resonate inside the vehicle.  To find out more about the exhaust system for the Ford GT click here:  http://products.jbaracing.com/feature_pages/07FORDGT.asp
